A private wedding with no guests

Over the years the Resort has had the pleasure of hosting a new kind of wedding in Umbria, a private and intimate wedding just for two grooms with no guests. At first it could sound quite strange or rare at least, but all in all after reading this lovely Chinese story you will desire to get the same intimate wedding ceremony too.

An intimate wedding without guests.

Many grooms who already got married in their Country often desire renewing wedding vows by a private wedding ceremony, on their own. Just some time ago a couple of Chinese people thought a country-style wedding in Umbria was the ideal solution to get their new wedding dream to come true: they decided to say “I Do” once again with a essential ceremony in our villa with no guests, no one but the two of them.

A symbolic ceremony to tie the knot, again!

They wanted the symbolic ceremony to be celebrated in the large garden of Villamena. And they were right! The weather in April in Umbria is usually mild and the spring blossoms in the flowers, in the trees and theirs bright colours, giving life to a very romantic atmosphere.

After the symbolic ceremony and after ritual photos around the garden and the pool, we accompanied them to Assisi in order to take more pictures of them in front of the ancient buildings of the city where St. Francis was born.

The couple concluded their wedding with a romantic lunch just for two, under the patio in front of the breathtaking panorama of Umbrian woodlands.

At the end of the wedding day at Villamena the grooms can enjoy a romantic candle-light dinner into the suite, tasting estemeed wines and a refined traditional Umbrian cuisine with Villamena’s Chef.
