Tiber River Park

The Tiber River Park is located in the province of Terni and has numerous points of naturalistic and historical interest; to name a few: the Forello Gorge, the Orvietan fortresses of Prodo and Titignano, Lake Corbara and the Alviano Oasis, the latter being an essential refuge for migratory and indigenous birds.

In the surrounding area, large and uncontaminated woods of oaks and holm oaks furrowed by numerous paths and, near the river, the archaeological of the Umbrian, Etruscan and Roman civilizations; castles, or their ruins, and Medieval towns perfectly preserved such as Todi, Orvieto, Lugnano in Teverina, Baschi, Alviano and Montecastello di Vibio, which houses the smallest theatre in the world.
