Villamena is located 3 miles away from Assisi, city of St. Francis, surrounded by green umbrian hills. In medieval times, it was a property that had been named after famous engraver Francesco Villamena (1566-1624), who was born in the surroundings.

The Covino family inherited the property from the noble Sbaraglini family, and decide to renovate with respect for traditional materials, not affecting old village charm and in harmony with the surrounding countryside.
