It’s coming up to our second wedding anniversary and realised we never published our review of Villamena…So I decided to do it.We chose Villamena for our wedding day as we suddenly fell in love with the location and the special Umbrian food, underpinned by the hospitality and personal touch we received from Raffaella, Simona and Marinella from the first time we visited (on a cold and wet February day!).We were 80 guests from the U.K. and we stayed for a 3-day celebration at Villamena; sharing our welcome dinner, the wedding day and a pizza pool party. It was great to have the majority of our guests staying onsite in the apartments of Villamena as well as a similar villa close us.We got married in Assisi town hall, which we chose as opposed to a blessing at Villamena as they could legally marry us. It is very important to mention our incredible wedding cake, which our guests still talk about!
We highly recommend Villamena as Raffaella and her family went above and beyond to make our dream wedding come true. We can’t wait to go back soon to visit Truly magical place to get married.
